This is a trip that has been on my bucket list for a long time. I was fortunate enough to have thought of using an excellent travel agency to book this trip and it was the smartest thing I've done in a while. Using Globe Travel and having Jane as our booking agent, not bookie, and Stephen to look out for our air travel, thanks Stephen, made this a wonderfully fulfilling trip. We took the Northbound cruise and then the 5 day land trip which involved both train and bus staying at the Princess Whittier Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights, 2 additional nights at the Princess Denali Wilderness Lodge, and a final night at the Fairbanks Lodge before flying home. I've broken up the photos to reflect the passage of time from the first day till the end, not of time but rather the trip. And I've only posted the best of the over 1,800 pictures that we took during our brief stay.

I feel certain that Marty and I will return sometime in the near future to further explore this wonderful state. A big thanks to Jane and Stephen for making this trip so wonderful and easy. I know we will be calling on Jane and Stephen again and Globe Travel will be the agency we use many times yet.
